A House Divided Against Itself Cannot Stand

Today Poncho and I will be talking about our thoughts on an interesting quote. “A house divided against itself cannot stand.” By Abraham Lincoln. We believe the quote means that when you work together on any given task you must be united as one or else the whole structure will crumble. When completing an objective you and your team must work together in order to be successful. In reality you and your team are only as strong as your weakest link, so if one person fails then the whole team fails. The United States is a strong nation but slowly becoming more divided. Democrats and Republicans cannot agree on any given idea. They could not agree on the dream act, the national budget, and the war in Afghanistan and Iraq.  A lot of democrats want to pull out our troops and republicans want to stay in there and fix the centralized governments. Our Government came to an understanding. Our Troops are to stay in Afghanistan and continue the fight while, the troops stationed in Iraq will be brought home by late December, just in time for Christmas. The state of our government is debatable; in our opinion as long as our government remains united it is sure to succeed

Network Neutrality VS Network Bias

To first understand "Network Neutrality" we must first know what it is. The term Network Neutrality or Net Neutrality basically states that internet provider can be in favor of a company and against another company. Basically if your the owner of AT&T and you don't want people to be looking at Verizon or Sprint you slow down their websites that way people cant access them. Net Neutrality says that you cant do this and must be equally fair to all web pages. Net Bias states the opposite, that any company can choose to raise or lower speed of each and every website they want. If this is right or wrong is for you to decide.

From my point of view, i think that Network Neutrality is a really good idea. This levels the playing field for everyone. It lets all the small business corporations to have a equal chance with all of the multi-billion dollar corporations. This also eliminates all the bribing that these companies are going to try and do which limits corruption. Over all, Network Neutrality is a good idea; whether the internet companies will decide to  do this is another thing.

Invisible Planes?

When people hear the word stealth airplane they always think invisible or cloaking or something, but in reality what stealth planes are don’t come close to that. A real stealth plane (B -2) is just a combination of real high tech technology. The B - 2 is a US war plane.
It is around 175 feet long, has a really slick and thin frame, and the best radar deflectors there is. In reality, it doesn’t block the radars but it actually deflects them do that the waves never reach were there coming from thus there is no information going to the enemy. The B – 2 can deflect infrared, acoustic, electromagnetic radar waves.
This plane is so advanced in technology since 1988, on 1 has been brought down out of the 20 there are and it was a technical error, not because of combat. The reason there are only 20 is because this plane literally cost hundreds of billions of dollar to make.
In my perspective I think that having this kind of technology is really cool. The thought of having something that huge in size go undetected is amazing. This type of airplane is going to create a brake through for other things that are yet to come in the future. Maybe one day we will have invisible planes.

Resume Vs Cover Letter

A resume is basically something that you send to a company that you are trying to apply to so you can get a job. It’s a type of article that is straight to the point it is a formal type of letter. Some key things that it must have is an objective, your experience, your academics/ awards, and your education. The objective basically states what you are going to bring to the position. Your experience includes what kind of work you have ever done before and if you have done any volunteer work. Your academics/awards has the schools that you have attended and any special honorable awards you earned inside or outside of school. Lastly, your education has all the school you have gone (usually just middle school, high school, and college/university).

A cover letter is more flowing that resume. It has full sentences unlike the resume. Its more letter type because it has a great and actually states why you want the job and everything. It also has a space for experience that you fill with your volunteer work and previous jobs but this one is more in depth. Over all the cover letter is more simple but I personally like the resume better.

Computer Software Engineer

What I want to be when I grow up is to be a Computer Software Engineer. Preferably I would like to work in Los Angeles and I found the perfect job. The Job is at the company Leisure Link, Inc. It is the largest distributor network of professional managed vacation homes, condos and specialty lodging, and over 1500 properties throughout North America and Europe. Its job position is a full-time employee. The level of education that it requires is a Master’s degree in computer science, computer engineering, or a related field is required.  It is located in Pasadena, California. Its location is right of the 210 Freeway.  Its industries include travel, transportation, and tourism.
The requirements of knowledge include knowing how to design and develop custom software applications for traveling industries and internet distribution systems including, but not limited to: (ARM) Active Revenue Management, (SOA) Service Oriental Architecture, (B2C) Business to Consumer Systems, and various other applications. Some things you are going to do in the job involve pricing, booking, gateways, data warehouse, and pricing cache services. Starting salary is around 80,000 dollars.
Well me personally I like this carrier because I like to work with computers. The person that inspired me to do this was probably my cousin Osvaldo. When I was small my auntie used to take care of so I would always be with my cousins and he was the one that started showing me like how computers work and everything. One time he made this computer himself with the best parts of different computers so it could work faster and better. He ended up using about 1000-1500 dollars on it. I had fun trying to help him and see what he did. That’s how I became inspired to become a computer engineer.

Getting High Off Of Oysters?

Now I have heard a lot of weird things in my life but this is one of the weirdest. I mean this is really one of the weirdest. Well we all know that there are people in the world that do drugs. We all know that people sell it, transport it, and then the consumer, and well consume it. People grow it in their backyards, in their basements, and in plain sight in fields. Then when they transport it they put in into little packages, of baggies or whatever. Then they bring over the border in trailers, trucks, boxes, crates ECT. But honestly, I thing that the guy who transported these “Goodies” went all out. He bought exactly 80 clams of oysters, cleaned them out, and put the drugs in there. The clams held 152 grams or 5.36 ounces of cocaine and its value for the bust was roughly about 10,000 dollars. WOW exactly.
This man, David Pocasangre Vaquiz, was arrested at in airport in Panama. He said he was going to transport the drugs here, in the US to the eastern state of Virginia. He was originally from El Salvador but is going to be brought here to the US to be trialed. He says he used the methods of the “Shoe Cocaine Guy” witch basically did the same thing that Mr. Pocasangre Vaquiz except well with shoes. . Now actually, I think this man is pretty stupid. If your transporting drugs why would you put them in your luggage knowing that their going open it and see what’s inside?

Micro-Chip Madness

I thought that the text we read was pretty interesting. Basically it just talked about future technology and stuff. There are new things being invented. They’re starting to make micro-chips that can send wave signals. These signals are activated by a sensor. This sensor can detect these waves. Basically, you will never lose anything ever again. Any time you lose your phone or pants or anything, just activate the sensor and boom, I found it.
Honestly, this revolutionizes everything. You can put this on any type of items in a store to keep track that no one is trying to steal anything. You can put this on cars and other vehicles so that if there is an accident, robbery, or the people get lost, you can find them. You can attach them to people so that if there is a natural disaster you can find them and treat them with care. Life here on earth would become so much easier.
The scientist also developed a micro-chip that activated on time intervals. Its really cool b/cz an item/appliance will turn on when it needs to and only when it needs to. Basically you program your everday appliances to work kind of like with an alarm.
Our energy consumption would go down a lot with this new micro-chip. Not only that, our lives would be so much easier. Imagine waking up to see that your dishwasher cleaned the dishes, your coffee maker made fresh hot coffee, your shower is up and running steamy hot water, your toaster made fresh toast, and your car is up and running ready to leave to work. How easy would that be?
